Bamboo Advance Beauty College prepares our students for careers in the beauty industry as licensed Manicurists. Students are guided by our Learning Leaders through all program’s with three stages: Touch, Create and Empower. We empower students to be the best they can be.
Touch.
The first 0-120 hours is basic learning in Theory and Practical Instruction, such as; Disinfection/Sanitation, Law & Regulation, Health and Safety, Client Consultation, Product knowledge. Skin Analysis, Basic manicure and pedicure technique, nail shape, polish, artificial nail: nail wraps, tips, acrylic liquid and acrylic powder brush on.
Create.
From 121 to 240 hours, you will enter a new stage of specialty in clinic and work on real clients with challenging practical services designed to continue building your skills as industry professional.
Empower.
You will spend your last 160 hour at Bamboo Advance Beauty College with your last Stage learning and preparing yourself confidence in the beauty industry, You will use your own create and empower abilities with the supervisor/ instructors help you to prepare yourself future industry career.

CA Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Licensing Requirements:
To receive a Manicurist license in the State of California, for the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, a student must:
Be at least 17 years of age or older.
Complete required course hours in a school approved by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
Submit an application and required fee.
Have completed the 10th grade in a public school.
Have committed no acts or crimes constituting grounds for denial of license under Section 480 of the Business and Professional Code.
Receive a passing score on a written exam only.
